Bri Redfield, SPHR, MBA (she/her)

CEO + Founder

Bri (she/her) is the Founder and CEO of ShinePact. Bri has over 15 years of experience working with service-based businesses as a People Operations leader and HR Executive. She holds an MBA in Leadership from Post University, a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from HRCI, and is completing her Sustainability Excellence credential through the International Society of Sustainability Professionals.

Passionate about social justice, our planet, sustainability and climate change education and activism, Bri saw an opportunity to leverage her professional expertise to create nature-based and sustainability-informed corporate programs and people practices for small employers who want to have a positive impact.

Bri lives in San Diego, CA with her husband, two young sons, and two rescue dogs. Her favorite ways to spend time in nature are running, yoga, meditation, camping, hiking, and stand-up paddleboarding.

 

Laura Hurvitz, MSW (she/her)

Outside Consultant + HR Manager

Laura (she/her) is an HR Manager at ShinePact. Laura has had the privilege of working in the non-profit sector for over 15 years. She is experienced in senior-level leadership, organizational strategy, budgeting, collaboration, community outreach, volunteer engagement, and consumer experience in a variety of settings. She holds an MSW from San Diego State University.

In 2021, Laura was awarded an inaugural staff excellence award. This honor, designed for an employee who exemplifies the strongest commitment to their work and embodies the essence of the organization, was given to Laura by her peers. Laura’s approach to work was described with words like integrity, respect, service, accountability, communication, kindness, and teamwork.

Laura lives in San Diego, CA with her husband and two daughters. Her favorite ways to spend time in nature are running, yoga, hiking, and family time at the beach.
